Phantom Limb is a narrative visual novel that explores the consequences of sexual trauma from male and female perspectives.
I want other survivors to realize that they are not alone, not at fault, and most importantly: that our lives are still beautiful after the fact.
I want to erase the trivialized version of assault the media presents.
I want to show how healing started for me and others.
Case studies were conducted to understand emotional effects.
The childhood sections of the game examine how (American) society promotes victim blaming.
The incident sections examine how rape culture is upheld.
The aftermath sections show how lives are continued, not ended.
Latest demo build has "programmer" and stock art.
